Sacred music is vital to Orthodox worship. The Holy Trinity Choir leads the singing at liturgical services and practices a wide repertoire of music from various Orthodox traditions. New members are always welcomed. Please contact Choir Director, Carol Wetmore, for more information firstname.lastname@example.org.
Holy Trinity youth participate in services as readers and a Children’s Choir is developing its skills to sing portions of the Sunday service.
Children are a vital part of our church. Learning about their faith is very important for the future of the Orthodox Church. Classes take place after Holy Communion for pre-school through high school. Ludmila Battista is Church School coordinator. Please contact her if you have an interest in teaching or enrolling your child in school.
Under the leadership of Matushka Kerri Fox, the committee sees to the welfare of all our parishioners. Meals are taken to those who could use a helping hand, phone calls and cards are sent to the shut-ins, care packages to our college students and of course, praying for those who request it. Any and all are welcomed to join.
The Holy Trinity ‘O’ Club
Our Parish has a chapter in the nationwide Fellowship of Orthodox Christians (FOCA). There is a wide selection of activities done both for fun and for fundraising. This group gives a lot back to the Parish, their efforts also go far beyond, some examples being, raising money for St. Innocent Orphanage under Project Mexico, and supporting our seminarians and their families in Kodiak, AK. See Patty Fitzgerald or any member for more information.
The Junior ‘O’ Club
The youth of our parish have an active club under the guidance of Steve Barrow. Their last gyro sale netted $450 which was donated to the Interfaith Food Pantry. They also organize and partake in social gatherings with other Orthodox youth in the area.
Father David offers a series of classes throughout the year. Please read the current newsletter for information on the current series of lectures.
The parish library offers a selection of Orthodox books and magazines on prayer, worship and spiritual life, the saints, church teachings and history, Orthodox Churches around the world and more. There is also a selection of material for children and teenagers. The parish library is self serve. Please remember to sign out any of the material you borrow.
